Saskatoon Toons

"There’s a province up in Canada that’s right next door to ours.
It’s called Saskatchewan. And, uh, in that province there’s a
small town, uh, where nothing much ever happens, called
Saskatoon.
And there’s an illustrator from there called Alisa…

I discovered this fun little site by Alisa Baldwin, a children’s book illustrator. You can view her collection of art. See portfolio >>
Alisa Baldwin is a proud graduate of the Alberta College of Art and Design. After receiving her Bachelor of Design degree in 2002, Alisa worked casually for a design agency called Tap Communications Inc. in her home town of Saskatoon. While continuing to pursue a career in freelance illustration, Alisa was recognized as an American Illustration Chosen artist. Aside from drawing silly characters, Alisa loves to people watch, dog sit, and look at children’s books new and old. Her influences include Edward Gorey and Tim Burton.
