Charlie Chocks Vitamins

charlie_chocks

Chock treatment! Charlie Chocks is perhaps one of the lamest spokesperson cartoon character for a vitamin brand devised by Miles Laboratories, the creators of Alka Seltzer. They created the first chewable vitamin for children in 1960 and made parents very upset with commercials on Saturday morning cartoons. Miles introduced Flintstone Chewable Vitamins in 1968, and Bugs Bunny Multiple vitamins in 1971 and by 1970 Charlie Chocks was gone. The Flintstones and Bugs Bunny still are the norm in any home in North America. We are left with this little comic book ad that is both surreal and uncompromisable.
