Going Green in Ontario has Perks

License to fill? Going green in Ontario will have its perks. Incentives have to be dangled in order to make green electric cars a thing of the future. The Ontario government is issuing special license plates that will make regular gas guzzlers green with envy. The special emerald plates will ensure passage to dedicated carpool lanes until 2015, parking privileges in many jurisdictions. This is a copy of the California idea that involved a sticker system, but the plate implementation takes it a step further in the seriousness of going green. If the whole of Ontario went green then they would be self sustained by their own electric grid if electric cars are to be the norm in the future.
