The Vampire Squid
The vampire squid is an unusual aquatic creature that inhabits the waters and turns itself “inside out” to avoid predators when threatened. The deep sea cephalopod Vampyroteuthis infernalis meaning “vampire squid from hell” has large eyes to accommodate the dimness of little light where it lives. The alien looking squid is a rare sight to see in action.
