The horror of it all. Christmas will not be the same again after you watch Treevenge by producer Rob Cotterill and director Jason Eisener who take the jingle out of Christmas with their own Little Shop of Horrors for evergreens. Treevenge won an award for best short film at Fantasia in Montreal in the summer of 2009. Treevenge is a favorite at film festivals and is sure be getting a bit more play with Christmas around the corner.
The film stars Trailer Park Boys regulars Jonathan Torrens & Sarah Dunsworth, as well as Lexx creator/ writer – Lex Gigeroff. Treevenge is a film that looks way beyond its incredibly low budget; and couldn’t have been possible without the pool of Halifax industry professionals and businesses that gave their time, equipment and patience in ways beyond the call of duty.
