Here’s a delightful surprise from Breaking Bad creator and Better Call Saul co-creator Vince Gilligan! Apple TV+ has unveiled a sneak peek at “Pluribus,” a much-anticipated new drama series from the brilliant mind behind two of television’s most iconic shows. Reuniting with the incredible Rhea Seehorn, who earned two Emmy nominations for her role in Better Call Saul, this nine-episode series is set to premiere globally on Friday, November 7, 2025, with the first two episodes, followed by weekly episodes every Friday through December 26.
So, what exactly is Pluribus? The title comes from the Latin phrase “E pluribus unum”—meaning “Out of many, one”—a nod to unity and a motto featured on the Great Seal of the United States. And here’s the exciting part: the show hasn’t even aired yet, and it’s already been renewed for a second season. Now that’s what you call confidence!
Described as a genre-defying original, Pluribus follows the world’s most miserable person as they’re tasked with saving the planet—from happiness. Alongside Seehorn, the cast includes Karolina Wydra (Sneaky Pete), Carlos Manuel Vesga (The Hijacking of Flight 601), and guest stars Miriam Shor (American Fiction) and Samba Schutte (Our Flag Means Death). Something tells us this is going to be a wildly joyful ride!
So far, all we’ve gotten is a woman sensually licking donuts and—wait for it—a petri dish smiling poster like it just scored a Netflix comedy special… or maybe it’s Watchmen’s long-lost microbial cousin. And you know what? I’m weirdly okay with that. Vince Gilligan, you sneaky genius, you’ve once again revealed absolutely nothing and somehow made it feel like a spoiler-filled feast. Let the beautiful madness begin!
