The\nimaginative production finds a way to seamlessly combine dance, drama, and a\nsurprisingly effective amount of comedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Featuring the\nsignature white masks and intricate dance moves that have positioned the group\nas the world\u2019s most influential dance crew, Jabbawockeez<\/strong> is\ncutting-edge entertainment at its best. I was\nexcited to learn that through April 28th<\/sup>, 2019, the BGFA is\npresenting two installations by renowned artist Yayoi Yusama, Infinity Mirrored Room \u2013 Aftermath of Obliteration of\nEternity<\/em> and Narcissus Garden<\/em>.\nAn immersive experience for visitors, Yayoi Kusama<\/em> offers a unique wonderland of lights and\nreflections where guests become part of the artworks and can experience\nKusama\u2019s exploration of infinite space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Narcissus Garden <\/em>has been re-installed and commissioned in various settings\nsince its creation more than 50 years ago. This iteration is comprised of 750\nstainless steel silver globes that create an infinite lake that distorts images\nof reality reflected on the surface of the 12-inch orbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\nwas particularly looking forward to experiencing the second exhibition\u2014 A<\/em>ftermath\nof Obliteration of Eternity<\/em> is a\nroom of infinite, shimmering lights. These mirror rooms have taken over the\ninternet, with people posting artistic photos of them experiencing exhibits of\nthis nature across the world. In this exhibit, \nguests step into an enclosed room to become immersed, as an array of\nlights ignite a mirage mirrored on every surface, representing the eternal\ncycle of life over the span of 45 seconds. The space represents Kusama\u2019s\nlifelong obsession with the dissolution of the self into the infinite. Note\nthat this installation may trigger seizures for people with photosensitive\nepilepsy, and this experience should be bypassed by people with sensitivities\nto flashing lights or dark, enclosed spaces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n ESCAPE ROOM:<\/strong>\u00a0 Last year in Montreal, I experienced my first-ever escape room. Having really enjoyed the experience, I looked forward to trying one in Las Vegas, so we visited Trapped: A Real Life Room Escape Adventure. This location was launched in 2015 and is centrally located at 4760 Polaris Avenue, a quick drive from the Strip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n For those who have never experienced an escape game of\nthis nature, it involves a group of people being placed in a room where they\nmust use all elements present to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and\ncomplete the objective within a set time limit. It is a great bonding activity,\nas it requires a lot of teamwork in order to succeed. The recommended minimum\nage to participate is 12 years old. All rooms cost $35 per person for regularly\nscheduled times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are currently two rooms, with a third one on its\nway, at this location. We chose The Lair of the Puzzle master. What is the\nscenario? You are your teammates are federal agents tracking an international\ncriminal known as \u201cThe Puzzle master\u201d. You have found his hidden lair and are\nmoving in to take him down, but you have to also avoid falling into his many\ntraps. This game is good for anywhere from three to eight participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The game is very well constructed\u2014my favorite escape room\nexperience thus far. It thoroughly challenged us, but as three individuals, we\nwere able to escape in the nick of time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe as a company have been open since 2015,\u201d\nsaid manager Renton Wilson. \u201cWe began with one location in Upland, California\nin 2015 and have since expanded to include a location in San Dimas, California,\nas well as Las Vegas.
