Dick Clark’s grave is still not filled with his corpse, Record Store Day brings vinyl back from the grave. Nothing like snap, crackle and pop in your music. The five year old event is getting bigger each year for the lovers of music. That final vinyl refused to hasten to music heaven or hell as most believe that rock and roll was created by the devil. The record store is a dwindling hub were music lovers used to search for records for their collections. It was the cool thing to do. The record has lost that coolness appeal to it. Many records are in garages and cellars sandwiched in milk crates waiting for the next generation to dump them at the curb or dispense them at garage sales. Record Store Day, just like Free Comic Book Day is a way to entice new and old buyers back into the fold. Hoarders rejoice, more junk for your house.
