DC and Realm are excited to announce the upcoming launch of DC High Volume: Batman, a groundbreaking scripted, always-on podcast series that brings DC’s most iconic Batman stories to life as thrilling audio dramas.
The series kicks off with a four-part adaptation of Batman: Year One, the legendary graphic novel by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli. After a decade-long journey around the world following the tragic death of his parents, Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham City, only to find it overrun by crime and corruption. Recognizing the need for a hero, Bruce adopts the mantle of Batman for the first time.
As Batman joins forces with Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent to dismantle the criminal underworld, a new wave of villainy emerges. Gotham City faces an unprecedented threat, leading to a “Long Halloween” filled with notorious costumed criminals.

The cast of DC High Volume: Batman includes:
- Jason Spisak (Young Justice, Arcane) as Batman/Bruce Wayne
- Jay Paulson (Mad Men, Catch-22) as Lt. James Gordon
- Reba Buhr (Next Gen) as Catwoman/Selina Kyle
- Adam O’Byrne (AMC’s Interview with the Vampire) as Harvey Dent/Two-Face
- Mike Starr (Goodfellas, Ed Wood) as Carmine Falcone
- Simon Vance (Bring Up the Bodies) as Alfred Pennyworth
- Dan Gill (Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension) as The Joker
- Jesse Burch (Fallout: New Vegas) as The Riddler
