Woody is back with a bold new look and attitude. Disney and Pixar have officially dropped the first teaser trailer for “Toy Story 5,” and this time, the toys meet technology in an adventure unlike any before. The short clip introduces Lilypad, a bright green, frog-shaped smart tablet voiced by Greta Lee (“Past Lives,” “The Morning Show,” “TRON: Ares”). Lilypad isn’t your typical plaything—she’s clever, connected, and a bit too high-tech for the comfort of the old-school gang. When Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and Forky cross paths with this new digital rival, playtime gets a tech twist that challenges what it truly means to be a toy in a modern world.
Tom Hanks returns as the ever-loyal Woody, Tim Allen once again takes flight as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack brings back the fiery spirit of Jessie. Tony Hale reprises his role as the lovable Forky, while Conan O’Brien joins the cast as Smarty Pants, a talkative but clueless toilet-training toy who means well but causes chaos.
