The Gatchaman movie is on life support due to the hardships by Imagi the studio behind the last Astro Boy movie which fared poorly. With a promised release date of 2011, it seems financial woes will not get the Gatchaman to fly once again. This trailer might be the only remains of the Battle of The Planets phenomena. With most of the studio depleted of animators and equipment there seems to be little hope for the completion of the movie.
