The National Film Board of Canada is distinctive as being an animation outfit funded by the Canadian government. Not your typical Saturday of Cartoon Network animated cartoons. Canadians pride themselves by this collective body of self expression from Canadian animators who have embellished world recognition for their labors. Leonard Maltin an ardent advocate of animation presents some of the NFB’s greatest accomplishments.
This feature-length film is comprised of a compilation of NFB films presented by on-camera host, Leonard Maltin. Included in the collection are Begone Dull Care, Mindscape, Log Driver’s Waltz, Getting Started and The Street, among others.
