In 1967, Claude Tchou published an oddity called La Vilaine Lulu, the only comic strip written and drawn by Yves Saint Laurent. In this book Yves Saint Laurent sometimes cruelly mocked his contemporaries, his relatives, the world of fashion of the time. This is not Dr. Seuss by any stretch, it will offend some. La Vilaine Lulu is not recommended for kids. If not for name he commanded in the fashion world, his little chef-d’oeuvre would easily disappear in obscurity.
