Dan Piraro is a surrealist painter, illustrator and cartoonist best known for his syndicated panel cartoon Bizarro. Piraro, a vegan, often comically presents animal rights issues in his work. His latest publication is Bizarro and Other Strange Manifestations of the Art of Dan Piraro.
