It’s been already seventy-five years that Amelia Earhart’s Lockheed Model 10 Electra disappeared over the Pacific Ocean. The story of Amelia will always be one of myth as years distance from her disappearance.
The doodle comes a day after a multimillion-dollar expedition tasked with finding the remains of Earhart and her plane, believed to be moored off a remote island near the Pacific nation of Kiribati, returned to the U.S. empty-handed. (source)
