Adobe and Corel have a niche market for the artistic professional community. ArtRage is making some noise with their iPad app version software. Most people cannot afford or upgrade every other year to Adobe’s high market value. The iPad is slowly replacing companies like Wacom the pen-tablet makers. The pens for the iPad are not as sophisticated, new companies are promising better ones. The ArtRage interface is a thing of beauty and friendlier than the boring standard Adobe interface. ArtRage will convert many traditional painters and bring a few novice Adobe and Corel artists along for the ride. With such a low price of $6.99 how could they not afford to.
