Former Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony join forces with Red Hot ChilliPeppers’ Chad Smith and guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani form new group called Chickenfoot. Chickenfoot will release their new album on June 9th. You could consider them a quasi super-group of sorts.  The silly name is sure to get attention, these seasoned players will surely capture the imagination of many music fans. Their logo is an attention grabber. Sammy Hagar the front-man of the group has a lengthy reputation of either you like him or not but he seems to be having fun with the new band. Politics aside the group will shake many venues in their tour this summer. This is one group to keep an eye for.
