From Fritz Lang’s Metropolis to the Matrix, neo-futuristic stories depicting controlled masses of tomorrow cultures seem to have little hope for humanity. The French short film by Luis Briceno and David Alapont explores the future of fabricated lives and those entwined in that fantasy and the few rebelling against it. Fard is a great story even if you don’t understand French.
