Freckleface Strawberry
If you can act or sing you can write children’s books it seems. Add Julianne Moore as the latest celebrity to the hat of famous people to the realm of children’s literature. I guess the book is semi-autobiographical because Julianne Moore is a red-head herself with freckles. One thing is for sure the book is well illustrated by award winning artist LeUyen Pham who is a master at drawing kids. Will this book have longevity, I don’t think so but the lavishly rendered book will have mass appeal. A good effort for first time written book by Julianne Moore.
If you have freckles, you can try these things:
1) Make them go away. Unless scrubbing doesn’t work.
2) Cover them up. Unless your mom yells at you for using a marker.
3) Disappear. Um, where’d you go? Oh, there you are. There’s one other thing you can do:
4) LIVE WITH THEM!
