Stop the Presses!
If it ain’t broke, why not scoop it again? Hot off the success of The Office, creators Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Rec) and Michael Koman (Nathan for You) are back at the editor’s desk with a brand-new comedy that’s inked with potential.
The Paper is the latest Peacock Original poised to make headlines—this time spotlighting a ragtag team of volunteer reporters trying to keep a fading Midwestern newspaper, The Toledo Truth Teller, from going under. Think After Life meets The Office, with a heavy dose of journalistic chaos and heart.

Filmed in the same mockumentary style that turned Dunder Mifflin into a household name, The Paper follows the same unseen documentary crew as they turn their lens toward small-town ink slingers and the uphill battle of saving local journalism in a digital world.
It’s becoming clear that Greg Daniels has a soft spot for dying industries—first office paper with The Office, and now printed newspapers with The Paper. At this rate, don’t be surprised if his next show is about a fax machine repair shop.
Holy Toledo! Also, someone check Toledo—do they have a Chili’s? Because we all know nothing seals a workplace comedy quite like an awkward office party and bottomless chips and salsa.
Guest appearances this season include a who’s-who of comic gold: Eric Rahill, Tracy Letts, Molly Ephraim, Mo Welch, Allan Havey, Duane Shepard Sr., Nate Jackson, and Nancy Lenehan all stop by the newsroom to add some extra punch to the punchlines.

The presses roll on Thursday, September 4th, as the first four episodes hit Peacock, with new editions—er, episodes—dropping two at a time every week through September 25th.
Extra! Extra! Read all about it—The Paper is setting up to be your next must-watch series.
