
With Halloween comes lots of plastic. Be costumes or candy wrappers. The following week after Halloween, we will throw out our trash/recycling with more plastic. Instead of scaring the trashman this year, give him less trash as a treat. Be a bit more creative with your costumes. Go green for Halloween. The aftermath of Halloween didnโt use to be streets and garbage cans littered with plastic, but the present reality is haunting. Treat packaging has trended toward scary, lightweight, crinkly plastic. Avoid purchasing these treat packages too soon, lest you be tempted to indulge in these packaging-heavy, small-portioned sweets.
