In parts of North America it is too nippy to even think about a Sundae. Today marks the 119th year of the creation of America’s favorite ice cream treat.
The first documented ice cream dessert “Sundae” – – an ice cream dessert covered with sauce, syrup, nuts, cherries etc. – – was made on a Sunday, which also happens to be April 3, 1892.
