Some might consider heavy metal music as dinosaur music, a relic of the past. Kids love dinosaurs and mix that with heavy metal and you got a winning formula called Hevisaurus, the heavy metal outfit that kids in Finland are going crazy for. This kiddie fare band are a motley crew of established musicians from the heavy metal scene both old and new. Heavy metal never took itself seriously and it’s good to see kids enjoying the fun aspect of the hard rock music genre.
While the real names of the actual line-up have not been released, among the artists on the full-length album are Mirka Rantanen (Thunderstone), Jens Johansson (Dio, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Stratovarius), Henrik Klingenberg (Sonata Arctica), Mikko Kosonen (Maija Vilkkumaa), Nino Laurenne (Thunderstone) and Mikko Salovaara (Kiuas).
