Many rock groups make it big, but there are more that do not make it out of their parent’s basement. This is the story of Bobby Liebling in a documentary in the vein of Anvil’s recent story of another fallen lost 80’s heavy metal band. Unlike Anvil, Pentagram the band of Bobby Liebling seems to be an afterthought for many. Pentagram considered the pioneers of doom metal faded into obscurity. Bobby Liebling is is a man living on the fumes of life, a walking shadow of his former self trying to fit in the annals of rock and roll. With no legacy left behind, he is re-inventing himself with a past long forgotten by many and a new audience for his present debauchery of self inflicted drug daze of oblivion.
LAST DAYS HERE tells the story of Bobby Liebling, lead singer of the cult hard rock/heavy metal band Pentagram. Frozen for decades in his parents’ basement, Bobby’s music is finally discovered by the heavy metal underground. With the help of Sean “Pellet” Pelletier, his friend and manager, Bobby attempts to overcome years of addiction, loneliness, and broken dreams. Intimate, raw, and unexpectedly funny, LAST DAYS HERE portrays the unbelievable journey of a man at the crossroads of life and death.
