Man V. Liver

When I visit my local bookstore, it’s not me actively seeking out books; rather, it seems that books find their way to me. Case in point: the unexpected discovery of “Man V. Liver.” Despite not being much of a drinker myself, I couldn’t resist the charm of this book, inspired by a Tumblr site. Surprisingly affordable, it has also found a secondary use as an excellent coaster for my cola.

While the topic of drinking may not inherently be amusing, the humor infused into this little book adds a light-hearted touch to a serious subject. It’s the kind of read that brings a smile to your face, though diving into its pages should be reserved for moments when you’re safely settled, not behind the wheel. Cheers to a book that unexpectedly found its way into my collection!
