Marjane Satrapi Wins Oscar

Here is a bold prediction, France has entered Persepolis as its candidate for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud’s animated film will be subtitled in English and is opening in the States on Christmas Day 2007 and qualify for an Oscar nod.  Marjane Satrapi will be winning the Oscar. This a great book and movie about intolerance in a society sheltered from the outer world, while breaking out at the seams in culture shock.
