Moebius is Dead

French artist Jean “Moebius” Giraud has died at the age of 73 after a lengthy illness. North Americans were introduced to Moebius through Heavy Metal (Métal Hurlant) magazines in the seventies.

“If you travel too far you’ll die. Outer space is not human, but you can visit. You need to be a little bit out there but you need to stay close to human.”
