Monster Mash Song

The Monster Mash hit the waves on August 1962 and became a cult classic by the time Halloween came around that year. The novelty song was sung by Bobby “Boris” Pickett with recording help from then-unknown Leon Russell. The popular song was banned in the UK due to the “morbid content” according to censors of the time. The Misfits when on to record the song in the late 90s.

To all the ghoulies, have a safe Halloween and keep some candy for me.
