Transformers One: Optimus Prime and Megatron’s previously untold origin story. Although these iconic characters are best known as fierce adversaries, they were once close friends with a brotherly bond that would ultimately reshape the destiny of Cybertron. This groundbreaking film marks the first fully CG-animated installment in the Transformers franchise. Transformers One boasts an impressive voice cast, featuring renowned actors such as Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm.

Transformers One is directed by American animation filmmaker Josh Cooley, who made his feature directorial debut with Toy Story 4 previously while working as a story supervisor & storyboard artist for years at Pixar. Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari wrote the screenplay. Produced by Michael Bay, Aaron Dem, Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy, and Mark Vahradian. Paramount will debut Cooley’s Transformers One movie in theaters nationwide starting September 20th, 2024.
