One Hundred Years From Now

How will people judge us in one hundred years from now? The following video was taken on April 14, 1906, four days before the great 1906 Earthquake. The camera was mounted on a platform of a cable car and filmed as it went along the track. How the world has changed so much in a hundred years and four days later this whole scene was left in rubble and chaos. It’s amazing the infractions committed by jaywalkers and vehicles as they just gingerly cross the cable car with no fear or repercussion. Historically this was the first film made in the 35mm format.
