Ozzy Osbourne is a health expert for the Sunday Times and why should he not be. The man is a walking testament that what can go wrong with your body with all the drug and alcohol abuse and survive it, then you should be the taken as a health expert. There are many qualified trained experts who wish they had an ounce of his knowledge on life. This man has seen it all. He is the Charles Atlas of heavy metal incarnate.
โWhen The Sunday Times Magazine asked me to be its new health-advice columnist โ Dr Ozzy, as Iโll be known from now on โ I thought they were taking the piss, to be honest with you.โ
โBut then I thought about it for a while, and it makes perfect sense: Iโve seen literally thousands of doctors over my lifetime, and spent well over ยฃ1m on them, to the point where I sometimes think I know more about being a doctor than doctors do.
โIf people can learn from my stupid mistakes without having to repeat any of them, or if they can take some comfort from the crazy things my family has been through over the years, or if just hearing me talk about colonoscopies makes them less embarrassed about getting tested for colon cancer, thatโs more than enough for me.
