Lee Unkrich, the Oscar-winning director behind Coco and Toy Story 3, will once again helm the project.
Adrian Molina, who co-directed Coco, is also back to co-direct.
Mark Nielsen, the Oscar-winning producer behind Toy Story 4 and Inside Out 2, will produce the highly anticipated sequel.
