In 2001 Paul Stanley discovered that he had a hidden talent. He could paint. Trying to forget his troubles with a divorce at the time he found solace in painting. Paul is not the only rock and roll artist who paints. Bob Dylan and Ron Wood have been painting for years. Unlike Paul, Bob Dylan and Ron Wood have great bodies of work. Ron Wood was trained in painting and raised in a family in the arts. Bob Dylan has matured as a painter and alludes to early 20th century painter Henri Matisse heavily borrowing from the Fauves and other European painters of the 1920โs and 30โs. Their names have made them perhaps very successful painters, their works will fetch millions each year. Ron Wood wants to be remembered as a painter and not as a musician.
