Scott Pilgrim will have his day in the sun this year. This summer belongs to Bryan Lee O’Malley the creator of Scott Pilgrim. Born in London, Ontario, littered with a few nomadic stops in various Canadian cities. Today he resides in the States. His creation, Scott Pilgrim is now on the silver screen and the final chapter of his book series of Scott Pilgrim is winding down to coincide with the movie release. The movie has an amazing soundtrack with a lineup of classic and new artists. The series always had music as a backdrop in the six book series. The smooth translation into film will only enhance the idea of the books.
Music is such an integral part of the Scott Pilgrim books that myself and Nigel [Godrich] have been working on the soundtrack for nearly two years,” director Edgar Wright says in the press release of the “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World” soundtrack and it shows as the 19-track album is definitely one of the more engaging and interesting soundtrack albums we’ve listened to in quite some time.
