    When a Cuban exile cartoonist is able to marry the simplest of concepts of good and evil or black and white without a stitch of dialogue and convey the elements of the Cold War or Us and Them and make us laugh at our differences. You have to admit that Antonio Prohias’s strip made us cheer for both the black and white spies, either way no matter what contraption did them in the strip, they found their way back the following month in the Mad magazines. Now Antonio is long gone, but his legacy lives on and many cartoonists have carried the flame and have done justice to the core theme.
