Steve Ditko emulated his creations, he was a man of mystery and that suited him fine. He co-created both Spider-Man and Doctor Strange with Stan Lee. He had a beef with Stan Lee, he always believed he was also the originator of the famous Marvel Method way of storytelling. Stan Lee always said that he was the sole creator of the method.
