It has been 7 years since lead singer Stuart Murdoch from Belle and Sebastian has released an album. He is afflicted with chronic fatigue syndrome, a debilitating illness with no easy cure. It kept him out of action. The Party Line is the lead song from the album, Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance. It is a change of direction from the band’s regular fare.There is more pop in both the music and in the mood atmosphere.
