While hitting the local Halloween stores I was amazed at the prices of costumes. The variety was not impressive. The boys section is littered with the most imaginative selection. The girls section, there are only two sections. The baby section and costumes too risky for young girls. I guess you could say most costumes are whored up for young girls. My daughter wanted to buy a costume from the boy’s section. What is it with all the girls costumes? Are they getting sleazier of what? So we are going the home costume route. There are exciting Halloween ideas on the internet, an example is the trashcan Stormtrooper by Jason. DIY costumes will get a better feed and get you more compliments. Well done Jason, this costume rocks.
