Popular Hostess snacks such as Twinkies, Ring Dings, Yodels, Devil Dogs and Yankee Doodles will be back this summer depending on a pending joint bid by private equity firms Apollo Global Management and Metropoulos & Co. The $410 million acquisition will once again increase the waistlines of Americans waiting to consume the sugary treats.
