Uncle Grandpa

Uncle Grandpa looks like an homage of sorts to Don Martin. The short was created by Pete Browngardt for Cartoon Network’s Cartoonstitute. Taking a page from Timothy Leary, Uncle Grandpa is a psychedelic tapestry of mind mush of infantile proportions. The Cartoon Network never get this to the air, by Family Guy standards this is quite tame. Not too many cartoons are being made like this. Family Guy depends on cheap humor at times with disjointed gags. Uncle Grandpa is a breathe of fresh air, but how long can you carry this concept? Short and sweet sometimes is better.
