This has to be the line of the week. โThat imbecile is going to be the next president of the United States.โ The imbecile in question is Warren Harding from Boardwalk Empire, the new HBO TV series. We see a glimpse of perhaps one of America’s least known presidents who died 2 years into his term of an apparent heart attack. Historians rate him the worst president ever. Boardwalk Empire is a refreshing look into the Prohibition period of the 1920s and 1930s in New Jersey as we see the world of Enoch “Nucky” Johnson. Steve Buscemi’s portrayal of Nucky is truly a complex study of the criminal mind. You feel sorry for him all the while knowing he is a killer at heart and he can easily order the killing of any individual.
