When man lets go of his home, be either catastrophe or economic hardship, nature will slowly claim back the designated abandoned land. Detroit the hardest hit city inflicted by the recession is the first casualty of homes left behind. Some estimates have house over 10,000 left now for wild animals and domesticated animals such as cats and dogs the owners left behind. Nature’s vegetation slowly took back the properties tearing up foundations and expanding trees that protrude through windows and doors. It’s like something out of a doomsday movie where there are only a few human survivors. Truly these pictures are of a troubled time where the gravy train made the last stop in Detroit. If we are not in a recession then how can you explain the growth of homes like this all over America. Feral houses will keep growing each year if we don’t control the housing market.
