The Fantastic Four are back—and the merch floodgates are wide open! Marvel Studios and Hollywood Records have released the official main theme from the upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Composed by Oscar-winner Michael Giacchino (Up, Ratatouille, Coco), the track is now available to stream on all major digital platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music.
The limited edition 7-inch vinyl, pressed on eye-catching translucent “Galactic Blue,” features two exclusive tracks: “The Fantastic Four: First Steps Main Theme” by Michael Giacchino and “Let Us Be Devoured” by Andrea Datzman (Inside Out 2). A must-have for collectors and Marvel fans, this retro-futuristic release perfectly captures the 1960s-inspired aesthetic of the film.
Set in a bold, stylized vision of the future, The Fantastic Four: First Steps reintroduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ben Grimm (The Thing)—as they embark on their most epic challenge yet.
Michael Giacchino shared his connection to the project:
“I first discovered the Fantastic Four as a kid while digging through old comics at a flea market in South Jersey. Their boundless optimism and belief in the future inspired me deeply. I hope this theme captures that same spirit of wonder and limitless potential.”
Michael Giacchino has shaped the sound of modern cinema, composing unforgettable scores for some of the most iconic and beloved films of the 21st century. Within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he crafted the music for the recent Spider-Man trilogy starring Tom Holland, bringing energy, emotion, and heroism to Peter Parker’s journey. Expanding his creative reach, Giacchino made his directorial debut with the 2022 Marvel Studios Special Presentation Werewolf by Night, showcasing his versatility not only as a composer but also as a visionary filmmaker.
