I donโt get it. Coyote vs. Acme has been sitting on the shelf for so long that it almost feels like a myth at this point, and now weโre being told we have to wait another week just for a trailer. A trailer for a trailer.
Ketchup Entertainment took Tax Day off this week to drop a teaser for Coyote vs. Acme, with the first full official trailer now set to arrive next week. And honestly, it just adds another strange layer to a story that already feels like a Hollywood rollercoaster.
Weโve watched this film go from being made, to shelved, to whispered about like it might never see the light of day, then partially rescued after public backlash, and finally sold off for distribution. All of it circling back to Warner Bros. trying to cut losses and save money.
And now, slowly but surely, weโre inching toward the finish line. The film is actually scheduled to hit theaters on August 28, 2026. Itโs real. Itโs happening. Just arriving in the most drawn-out way possible.
