There are many cases where young computer whizzes are striking early with enterprising ideas. Cecilia Cassini is by far “America’s youngest fashion designer.” Most of us are not smarter than a fifth grader, yet alone can’t put a thread through the eye of a needle. Cecilia Cassini’s fashion line is sold in some fashion stores in L.A. with brisk sales. Cecilia donates her time to many charities and sees her business more as a passion and not work.
The young fashion maven regularly designs and donates dresses to raise money for charities such as Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Doctors Without Borders, and Clothes Off Our Backs. She also gives her dresses to homeless girls. “I want to give back to the people who don’t have what I have,” she says. “Every little girl should have a dress so I wanted to donate dresses.”
