DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: 6th Season

DC's Legends of Tomorrow are the greatest heroes that nobody knows. Operating under the time fringes, the motley crew protects the timeline from going rogue caused by either super-villains or themselves. In six years the team has changed from its original inception. It's hard to believe the show is still going strong after a massive cast change. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow does not take itself too seriously. The show gives nods to the history of DC continuity and pop culture. It will even at times poke fun at its competition, Marvel Comics. If you are looking for light entertainment and an hour of mindless fun, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete Sixth Season is your show.

Keith Haring: 31 Subway Drawings

Celebrated artist Keith Haring (1958–1990) has been embraced by popular culture for his signature bold graphic line drawings of figures and forms. Like other graffiti artists in the 1980s, Haring found an empty canvas in the advertising panels scattered throughout New York City’s subway system.

The Origin of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (Shrug Emoji)

Shrug Emoji was created by Caroline Eisenmann, a young assistant at a New York literary agency. The shruggie or “smugshrug,” as it is sometimes called, is what’s known as a “kaomoji,” or “face mark” in Japanese. Eisenmann created the unique emoji for her OkCupid (free online dating app) profile. It was rejected by OkCupid.

Funko Games’ Seinfeld Party Game

Nothing to see here. For a show about nothing, Seinfeld lasted 9 seasons. That was a whole lot of nothing going on. Funko has created a trivia game based on the 90s hit series. The party game about nothing should be a hit with Seinfeld fans. Along with the game, Funko is also releasing a whole series of Pop figurines based on famous characters from the 9-year run.

Bottle Grove Review

“Nothing is believably conjured to life in Bottle Grove. No spell is cast, no character takes root in the reader’s heart. Captive to Handler’s cleverness, to his allusive play and lack of rigor, the reader tries to make sense of the proceedings, to no avail."
