DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are the greatest heroes that nobody knows. Operating under the time fringes, the motley crew protects the timeline from going rogue caused by either super-villains or themselves. In six years the team has changed from its original inception. It’s hard to believe the show is still going strong after a massive cast change. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow does not take itself too seriously. The show gives nods to the history of DC continuity and pop culture. It will even at times poke fun at its competition, Marvel Comics. If you are looking for light entertainment and an hour of mindless fun, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete Sixth Season is your show.
Many might argue that the show has lost some of its steam, but I would disagree, the show just keeps making fun of itself over and over with a small degree of seriousness. Time travel has always been in my mind about fun. There are not too many shows about time travel that have lasted more than two years. Irwin Allen’s The Time Tunnel is as serious as you can get as a time travel show. So get on board the Waverider and ready yourself to land where the crew is needed to fix the timeline.
