Perhaps the last thing that John Lennon autographed for his soon to be killer Mark David Chapman’s copy of Double Fantasy is up for sale. The album with finger prints and all by some estimates will fetch over 850,000 dollars. The owner (remains incognito) fears for his life for profiting on the assignation of John Lennon 30 years later.
“The album is the most extraordinary artifact in rock and roll history. It has Lennon’s signature on the cover and Chapman’s forensically enhanced finger prints on the sleeve. There are evidence markings from the NYPD.”
“Originally sold it in 1999, but it has come back up for resale. The current owner doesn’t want to be named because he received death threats.”
