Is this the future of syndicated newspaper strips? With dwindling newspaper sales, cartoonists are finding it harder to sell their products. Many wannabe cartoonists with an internet account create free content and bring down the value of strips found in newspapers. Dan Piraro is perhaps one of the oldest original creators from the 80’s and still going strong is leading the pack with his Bizarro app and perhaps will shape the future and survival of the newspaper strip to a new platform.

With the Bizarro app, a NEW COMIC is added EVERY DAY! (The same comic that appears in newspapers.) PLUS, at any given time there is a YEAR’S ARCHIVE of comics that can be accessed super easy and fast from a handy-dandy calendar page.
