Did Cousin Itt appear in Charles Addams’ New Yorker cartoons?

Before the Addams Family became a TV series. They had a significant problem. The characters had no names. Charles Addams gave them all names for the show. Another exclusive to the show was Cousin Itt. The character Cousin Itt was created strictly for television. Cousin Itt has become a constant from cartoons to later movies. Cousin Itt never appeared in Charles Addams’ New Yorker cartoons.
